When you think about Russia, what is your first thought? Probably, it is not about an outreach Ministry, but istead, most of us think of Communism, the Cold War, the Iron Curtain, Putin, Stalin, Lenin, cold weather, and Siberia. Well, all of these either are true or were true at one time or the other, but Russia today is a whole new country.
Moreso, Russia is a country full of wonderful people who look just like you and I, and who live their lives with their families just like you and I do. They have hopes and dreams just like all of us, and contrary to popular belief, most of them have never had any association with the Communist Government that existed in Russia for so many years.
Russia is a beautiful and rugged country, and in most cities, a fully modern country with an amazing history and a culture that can be admired by most other countries in the world. Russia is a combination of modern technology, old World Culture, and Architecture forming a mosaic that resembles a finely orchestrated piece of music.
The outreach Ministry of Partnership Russia has the honor of being aquainted with, and partnering with various Russian Protestant Churches and Ministry activities that are active in spreading God's word throughout various parts of this exciting country. Russia is a large country and the opportunities for an outreach Ministry such as ours are more than the mind can imagine, and the needs of the people are just as great.
